Biostatistical Analyst-HC - Watertown, MA (PS38744)

Responsible for conducting statistical analysis for the HealthCore research team. 

Location - Watertown, MA office strongly preferred 

 Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: 
  • Manipulates and creates complex datasets
  • Cleans datasets to identify outliers
  • Provides statistical review/input for quality control during the data collection phase of a study
  • Write statistical programs to conduct analyses or QC as directed by senior statistician
  • Drafts written summaries of analysis results
  • Participates in the writing of manuscripts, especially Statistical Methods and Results sections
  • Summarizes results of requested analysis in table and graphic format.  
  • Meeting with senior statisticians to discuss SAP, priorities and provide feedback


Requires a Masters degree in Statistics or Biostatistics or a closely allied field with substantial statistical preparation; knowledge of statistical methodology and analysis. Practical experience in data analysis in public health or the social sciences; demonstrated expertise in statistical consulting/collaboration and technical writing. Proficiency in Statistical Analysis System (SAS) is required. 1-2 years of experience in data analysis in clinical research preferred.
