Director Account Management - Value Based Solutions

Responsible for leading account management retention activities for the company’s Value-Based Solutions products. Provides strategic and operational focus to support Account Managers as they impact cost and quality for value - based care providers in all lines of business. 

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: 
- Provides leadership and strategic direction to ensure profitable growth. 
- Develops strategies and executes plans to achieve contact growth and financial goals. 
- Analyzes individual and team performance against key performance indicators and metrics. 
- Provide leadership in execution and strategies leading to success of value-based care models and support providers in the transition to risk. 
- Presents technical and strategic information to multiple levels of internal and external stakeholders. 
- Maintains a strong understanding of value-based payment models and an ability to coordinate across Anthem resources to solve for complex issues. 
- Develops and motivates staff to achieve common goals. 
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports. 

Work location: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Virginia, Wisconsin; may consider other locations for most qualified applicant.


Requires a BA/BS; 8 years of professional/leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

- Value Based Solutions experience strongly preferred.  
- Experience building and maintaining partner relationships with Providers is ideal.

Annual Salary Range*: $124,800 - $156,000
Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
