The Go To Market Strategic Planning Director will create the strategy and lead analysis to scale health technology products for Anthem’s “Digital First” vision. The candidate will partners across functions, lines of business (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid), and business stakeholders to build business cases, create sales and marketing strategies and identify Business Development opportunities. Manages relationships for strategic development, alignment and execution of Anthem’s Digital initiatives across all Anthem business segments. Requires broad understanding of the healthcare market with an intellectual curiosity to define and develop winning solutions for competitive opportunities.

  • Develops aligned provider digital story, strategy, programs, and solutions based on business priorities, provider/consumer/competitor insights, and industry trends that support digital and provider strategy
  • Collaboratively develop a prioritization framework to identify portfolio of provider digital innovation projects to seed and grow, leveraging Anthem’s existing provider relationships and platform ecosystem
  • Responsible for researching and evaluating new digital market concepts / solutions from provider perspective, assessing them in the context of market opportunity, determining if and how they would best fit into the existing portfolio of services, and then work alongside them to bring value to providers
  • Drive creation of provider portfolio view through CRM-type system allowing for strategic assessment of collaboration partners
  • Generate and communicate actionable insights and recommendations about strategic and tactical opportunities to accelerate product growth
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to generate insights and identify opportunities regarding growth drivers and our customers
  • Report out to stakeholders on our go-to-market performance and make data, insights, and the implications easily digestible for the team
  • Monitor and report on go-to-market performance vs. targets
  • Oversee operationalization of go-to-market programs and campaigns in coordination with go-to-market teams (e.g., email campaigns, nurture workflows, sales playbooks, cadence testing + optimization)
  • Identify and advise on opportunities to continuously improve go-to-market campaigns and programs
     

 

Qualifications

Requires a BA/BS, MBA preferred; 8-10 years, experience in strategy consulting, health plans, and provider. Must include prior go to market experience for Saas of which 5 years of experience in healthcare sales, marketing, product commercialization and/or business development; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background..  

Qualifications: 

Strong analytical and modeling skills and experience; adept at translating data into insights to help peers better understand customers and growth opportunities / levers.  

Track record of success of partnering with Go-to-Market teams to accelerate growth 

5+ years of SaaS go-to-market operations (or related) experience. 

Strong collaborator and communicator.
