As a value-based care provider, quality is the focus. The Medical Officer will be responsible for contributing to market clinical strategy, excellence, and quality, and/or clinical oversight in Des Moines, Iowa. They will lead a team of clinical and Behavioral Health staff and work closely with Case Management to care for an underserved population. In addition to caring for patients in a clinic setting, they will have the opportunity to do virtual visits and on occasion deliver care to patients in the home. In this role, you will collaborate with the General Manager and work as a dyad to promote efficiency and processes within the clinic. This role is the entry-level management job for the clinical leadership career path. Leadership responsibilities for the clinical team with a strategic strategy for community and market development as it relates to AIP and yearly KPI goals.
