Sales & Retention Executive - (1-99)

Work location: The selected candidate must be located in Wisconsin.

Responsible for new business sales for individual, 2-50, key accounts (1-99), and specialty business.  Responsible for account retention in the 2-50 space. 

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Acquires new accounts through brokers and/or directly to customers. 
  • Prospects accounts and produces revenue through new and renewal sales. 
  • Generates lead activity and makes sales calls. 
  • Develops strategies and utilizes selling techniques to acquire new business. 
  • Develops and executes retention strategies. 
  • Identifies opportunities for penetration sales. 
  • Manages the renewal process and ensures that accounts receive excellent customer service.

  • Requires a BA/BS; 5 years of health insurance sales and retention experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 
  • Individual and small group sales experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience in developing broker and/or customer relationships and strong managed care knowledge and negotiation skills required. 
  • Sales License required at the time of hire. 
  • Travel within the state of Wisconsin is required. 
  • Direct selling or other sales experience preferred.
