Responsible for providing oversight of the region’s markets for home based palliative care. Provides support to market leaders in meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), deploying best practices throughout the region and leads workgroups around opportunities for improvement. Has direct oversight of a book of business within a region.


 Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensures KPIs for each market within the region are met based on yearly expectations by structuring effective clinical strategies to deliver on company goals and vision. Maintains clinical oversight of Advanced Practice Clinicians within the market, conducts census reviews, and participates in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings (IDTs).

  • Functions as a Lead Physician in a market.

  • Initiates workgroups and strategic planning when challenges are identified at the market or regional level and proposes solutions to identified opportunities.

  • Provides support for clinical operational modifications and best practices in the region.

  • Assists in developing a standardized approach to clinical operation modifications.

  • Attends market meetings.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

  • Upon COVID restrictions lifting travel will be required up to 25% in the following markets CA, CO, WA, OR, AZ, NV, ID, MT,UT.


Minimum Requirements:

  •   Requires MD and a minimum of 3 years of clinical practice experience.

  • Requires current unrestricted medical licensure in applicable state(s) and board certification in Internal Medicine or subspecialty, Family Practice, Geriatrics or Emergency Medicine. Hospital and Palliative Care certifications preferred.

  • For Aspire business units, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Leadership experience preferred but not required.

  • Residency in CA, CO, WA, OR, AZ, NV, ID, MT, UT preferred but not required.

Annual Salary Range*: $220,560 - $275,700

Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level. *
