Responsible for the delivery of end to end system development and maintenance of the Salesforce platform in a complex technology environment focused on multiple business client groups, business units and corporate departments.

How you will make an impact:

  • Development of solutions with an integrated business and technology team focused on medium to large complex customer business solutions in an evolving, integrated and complex technology platform or architecture.

  • Maintains active relationships with internal and/or external stakeholders to develop business requirements.

  • Analyzes and classifies complex change requests while identifying and documenting possible system code enhancements.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of Salesforce and health insurance industry trends, products and infrastructure.

  • Collaborates with engineers and architects, analyzes and classifies complex change requests, and reviews and evaluates possible enhancements.

  • Works with an Onshore Product team and an Offshore development team to develop and define application scope and objectives, and prepare functional and/or technical specifications and solutions for implementation in a complex environment.

  • Analyzes and evaluates detailed business and technical requirements.

  • Understands the product and analytics, and drives requirements taking into business stakeholder needs.

  • Identifies and resolves technical problems/risks.

  • Codes and maintains complex components of the Salesforce ecosystems.

  • Mentors others on Salesforce coding standards and performs code reviews.

  • Reviews test cases and advises QA on adjacent code/regression impact.

  • Develops and performs system testing and resolves defects identified during testing and re-executes unit and end to end tests to validate results.

  • Aids in integrating activities with internal and external IT partners for successful implementation and support of project efforts.

  • Provides on call support and monitors the system and identifies system deficiencies.

  • Regularly deploys developed solutions in concert with business partners and product management.



Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 3 years experience on one platform, multi database, multi language or multi business application; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Experience mentoring others, leading small projects and providing troubleshooting support is strongly preferred.


Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Strong experience with Salesfore is needed.

  • Mulesoft is nice to have.

  • Velocity is nice to have.
