Actuarial Analyst II/Actuarial Analyst (Job Family)

This position can be filled at the Actuarial Analyst II or Actuarial Analyst level. The Hiring Manager will determine the level, based on the candidate’s experience and background.

The Actuarial Analyst II completes projects and performs complex actuarial studies.

The Actuarial Analyst assists in the determination of rates. Analyzes, develops and validates statistical data.

How You Will Make an Impact:

Primary duties of the Actuarial Analyst II/Actuarial Analyst may include, but are not limited to:

  • Obtains, verifies, and analyzes data for monthly membership, revenue, and claims reporting
  • Models reported data for monthly forecasting and setting of financial budgets
  • Assists in identifying variances vs actual experience and updated forecasts

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Actuarial Analyst II

Requires a BA/BS degree and to have passed a minimum of three Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exams and a minimum of 1 year related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Requires a BA/BS degree and to have passed a minimum of one Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exam; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
